Alternative Communication Methods
|
|
Mosaic Mediation provides alternative communication methods for those that prefer to mediate on-line or by telephone.
On-line and teleconferencing mediation are excellent alternatives to meeting face-to-face for individuals that are unable to leave home, are geographically separated or simply prefer to mediate in the privacy and comfort of their own home or office. |
| There are three steps to initiate on-line or teleconferencing mediation:
|
Step #1: Request Mediation
Complete a Request For On-Line or Teleconferencing Mediation form and submit. The Mediator shall either call or email the requestor within two business days to confirm receipt and discuss contacting the other party. See Forms section in the Area of Interests menu.
Step #2: Contact Other Party
Either the requestor or the Mediator shall contact the other party regarding participation interest. If the Mediator contacts the other party and the other party is not interested, the Mediator shall notify the originator and close the request. If the party agrees to mediate, he or she shall also fill out and submit a request form.
Step #3: Prepare for Mediation Session
Once forms are received, the first session is scheduled and access instructions are provided to either the secured on-line discussion site or the secured teleconference line. |
