Marriage, Divorce and Post-Divorce

Mediation is a civil, empowering and cost effective way to resolve marital conflict, develop divorce or separation agreements, resolve post-divorce issues or generate important discussion between two people that plan to marry within one year.

Mosaic Mediation provides a state certified Marital Mediator to support you with your conflict resolution or agreement development needs.

Mediated Divorce or Separation Agreements

Mediation is very effective at supporting the development of fair separation or divorce agreements that address the needs of both spouses. Mediation significantly reduces costs, family stress, uncertainties and delays, ensures privacy and control and better preserves relationships.

The Mediator guides a divorcing or separating couple through the mediation process to address all state required topics including parenting plans, division of assets, allocation of debts, insurances, future expenses, spousal support and child support and also addresses any personal topic that is important to either spouse.

Mediating a separation or divorce could take as little as four to five sessions or as many as six to eight sessions depending upon the complexity of the financial and personal issues involved and the determination of both parties to negotiate.

Upon completion of your efforts, Mosaic Mediation will provide you with a court-ready mediated agreement, applicable forms and general court filing information.

Marital Disputes

Mediation is also an excellent way to resolve conflict in a marriage if both parties are interested in sustaining the marriage. The Mediator guides married couples through the mediation process which provides a private setting for couples to communicate while promoting collaboration, peace and the preservation or restoration of the relationship. The process enables the couple to reach an optimum solution that meets the interests of both parties.

Marriage Readiness Program

Mosaic Mediation also provides a Marriage Readiness Program for couples that plan to marry within one year. The program uses the mediation process to promote respectful communication on difficult topics that most commonly drive couples to divorce or separate with the intent to proactively reduce conflict in the marriage. Reduced rates apply for this program.

Post-Divorce Issues

Mediation provides a neutral environment for divorced couples to address co-parenting issues that have arisen after divorce or any other topic that the ex-spouses need to discuss. The Mediator promotes collaboration and communication in an effort to support the development of a fair resolution or agreement.
